Waheed has strong Regulatory financial services background. Waheed Played a key pioneering role as Founder to set up first Islamic Consumer bank in the UK. WQ has proven expertise in start -ups, turning around loss making operations,distress assets, financial restructuring, debt advisory and leverage financing. Waheed is founding member of Bank of England working party; where he managed to bring constitutional amendment in 2003 on double stamp duty. Waheed sits on the CISI board/committee for Corporate finance and Islamic finance qualifications. Lately WQ is more focused on Ethical front undertaking the appropriate structures to convert opportunities available in ESG/SDG and Net -Zero -Energy to transform economies to stability fix climate change eliminate extreme poverty tackle inequality & injustices.
